Over time, I've been seeing journals, posts, comments, stamps, etc. basically bashing fan art and fan artists. As a passionate fan artist, I figured it's about time I speak out about the issue. "Fan art is not art/fan art is not as creative as original art." Absurd. First of all, if someone drew it, it is ART. DRAWING IS ART REGARDLESS OF WHAT CHARACTER IT IS. Second of all, many people put a lot of time, effort and creativity into headcanons, and putting the characters into new situations that never happened in the respective shows. A warning about Wallpart

If you see any of your or another artist's artwork being featured at a site called Wallpart, be advised that the site appears to be a malicious domain that does not actually sell any artwork.  Whatever you do, do not fill out the complaint form on the site or, for that matter, visit the site as the site has been associated with malware in the past and has changed hosts several times.  It is apparently nothing more than a giant phishing scam meant to target unsuspecting artists and potential art buyers. I must apologize to all of you for the relative lack of activity on my Deviant Art account. Between teaching and taking a class of my own this semester (German) I have had little time to do much in the way of writing. After over a year on fanfiction.net I have finally decided to also place my stories on DeviantArt and to join this vibrant community.  I have added Act 1 of the Seven Hunters to my deviations today and will be adding the subsequent acts over the next several weeks.  For those of you who haven't read it elsewhere, the Seven Hunters is a Land Before Time story that takes the premise of the Gang of Five turning into sharpteeth and takes it to its logical and horrifying conclusion.  It is a dark tale of despair, love, hope, and redemption that totals over 500,000 words in length.  I hope that all of you enjoy it.  As always, I would appreciate an
